What is secret, has wedding ideas, and you don’t want to admit you have? A secret Pinterest board!

Everyone dreams about their wedding day…and when your friends start getting engaged and married, you can’t help but think about your own big day. Not long ago Pinterest introduced these “secret boards” that opened the door to all those dreamers to get (and save) some early inspiration. I confess, I’m guilty of this harmless charge.

It is interesting how my secret board usage changed:

Before getting engaged my board was a fun, not serious hobby that was kept secret to avoid being judged. No one wants to be that psycho that doesn’t have a ring on her finger yet is openly pinning wedding colors, centerpieces, and bridesmaids dresses. Right?
After getting engaged my board became a serious research project that was still kept hidden, after all you do want to surprise your guests and avoid someone stealing your ideas (even though you got the ideas from a public social network.)

Now that I’m married, I’m ready to turn off the “secret” switch on my board’s settings, and share some of my Pinterest wedding inspiration. You can find the old secret board here.
