The Formal Winter Wedding - Adriana and JT
In February, I kicked off my 2018 wedding season with Adriana and JT's formal winter wedding at The SKY Room, the top floor of the Crowne Plaza Midtown Hotel. This couple was extra special for me because the bride also happens to be my cousin. So not only was it fun to help them find vendors and plan the day's logistics, but it was also exciting to welcome the groom and his kids to our crazy family.
Their big day started with an indoor ceremony overlooking the Atlanta skyline. The ceremony was beautiful and very sweet. My favorite part was when Jack and Anna, the groom's children, participated in the family vows.
After exchanging their vows, the celebration continued with drinks, dinner, and dancing. The night skyline and the ivory, gold, and pops of navy blue were the perfect combination to create an elegant atmosphere.
One of the most exciting parts of the night was the samba performance. The bride wanted to surprise the groom and guests with something different and fun. Since the groom plays drums, having drummers and samba dancers was the perfect choice to bring the party to the next level.
