The Rustic Farm Wedding - Allie and Moritz

In May, after rehearsing the ceremony on a rainy Friday and practicing plan A and (rain) plan B, Allie and Moritz celebrated their beautiful union as husband and wife on a sunny Saturday afternoon at the Inn at Serenbe, the same venue where he popped the question. Their rustic farm wedding started with an outdoor circle ceremony in the Open Air Function room, where the guests surrounded the bride and groom as the bride's uncle officiated the wedding. This open space was perfect for the intimate ceremony they were looking for and decorated beautifully with pops of peach, pink, and fuchsia.

The guests were then invited to the Lake Pavilion for cocktails, dinner, and dancing. The space combined cafe string lights, farm tables, and gorgeous flowers in a variety of vases that really captured the wedding theme.

Besides obsessing over the centerpieces and string lights everywhere, one of my favorite parts of this American German wedding was how the bride and groom ensured that the timeline maximized their time with friends and family by scheduling all photos before the ceremony and having an after party by the fire pit instead of a send-off.

Allie and Moritz, Thank you so much for trusting me and having us at your wedding. It was an absolute pleasure helping you before and during your big day and meeting your sweet families. Best wishes in Germany and come visit us soon.
