Why Hire a Wedding Coordinator?
When I was getting married, my mom and I knew that we were organized and efficient enough to plan my wedding between the both of us. After getting some wedding inspiration from Pinterest and my wedding vendor’s websites, I knew exactly what I wanted, so I didn’t need much direction. However, after spending more than a year planning every single detail of our big day, I was very certain that during our wedding I did not want to be:
Worrying about the scheduled activities
Dealing with vendors
Stressing over something not going as planned
Focusing on anything other than my husband, our loved ones, and having a great time
As a bride, I wanted to relax and only think about enjoying this special time, and it would’ve
been really hard to do so by overseeing everything that day. It was also not fair to assume that my mom would like to take on this responsibility after all the effort leading to this day. So we hired a Wedding Coordinator, and let me tell ya, it was a great decision.
A Wedding Coordinator begins working generally one or two months before the wedding, and focuses on the logistics of your the day to ensure everything goes as planned and runs smoothly. (Note: Make sure to book them earlier though so they can reserve your date.)
Here is a quick recap of what to expect:
