In April, Jackie and Cody celebrated their nuptials on a beautiful sunny spring day at the Historic DeKalb Courthouse in Decatur, GA. Their classic yet simple wedding combined white and dark gray tones with mercury accents, which perfectly enhanced the beautiful marble walls and arched windows of this venue.

The wedding began with a ceremony officiated by the bride's grandmother. Having someone so loving and sweet marry you, made this part extra special and emotional as she pronounced them husband and wife. The guests were invited downstairs for cocktail hour, followed by a reception upstairs on the flipped ceremony space. After dinner, drinks, and dancing, the night concluded with a sparkler send-off.
My absolute favorite detail about this wedding was the bride's twist on escort cards: small labeled jars filled with honey harvested by her grandfather. To me, any element you can incorporate that represents you or your families, is what makes each wedding unique.

Jackie and Cody, I really enjoyed working with you and getting to know you and your sweet families. I am so happy your wedding was everything you dreamed it would be, and it was my pleasure helping you through this process. Thank you for trusting and choosing Weddings by V to coordinate your big day.
