Wedding Planning Spreadsheets
I love spreadsheets! I know…such a nerd thing to say. But it is true and they were an essential part of keeping me from going crazy when planning our big wedding. Here is an overview of the spreadsheets on my wedding workbook.
Wedding Guest List
Address label name: This format is needed for addressing envelopes. When it comes to RSVPs, instead of deleting rows, make a copy of the master spreadsheet to avoid losing information. I also made additional copies and customized them to manage pre-wedding events.
Names: You need to know wife and kids’ names for sitting cards.
Language: We needed to keep track of how many English and Spanish invites we needed.
Seats: Total seats reserved per invite. Helps to keep track of the total number of guests.

Gifts
A column for each event to track who gave you what and when. Helps a lot when it comes to sending out thank you cards.
Welcome Bags
Tables
Table #: We had a layout of the room and we numbered the tables in order. I personally prefer numbers because it helps guests find their tables quicker.
Seat #: We had long imperial tables for 20 people. Each seat had a number and we kept it consistent by using the dance floor as a reference.
Provide a copy of this spreadsheet to your wedding day coordinator just in case.
